It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you to Heartwood Community School!
As Principal, I am honored to serve a school community that believes deeply in the power of joyful, engaging, and student centered learning. With over 18 years in public education, I have seen firsthand the incredible growth that happens when children feel safe, supported, and inspired. At Heartwood, we are committed to creating an environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to discover their unique gifts.
I believe wholeheartedly that each child carries tremendous potential. It is our shared responsibility as educators and families to nurture that potential through encouragement, connection, and curiosity driven learning. When we partner together with purpose, we create the conditions for children not only to succeed academically, but to thrive as confident and compassionate individuals.
I am especially passionate about early education and the foundational years that shape a child’s love of learning. At Heartwood, we foster a culture grounded in kindness, creativity, and exploration. Our classrooms are places where wonder is celebrated, questions are welcomed, and students are empowered to grow with confidence.
